Aerobics. Aerobics, in its own sense, means \"with oxygen\". This sort of activity that involves body motion in a spontaneous period of time, it consequently promotes better respiratory and circulatory functions for the body. We might not be very aware of it but the basic things we do daily such as going shopping, doing household chores, or even walking is considered an aerobic exercise. Therefore, a person does not need to enroll in a class so as to perform aerobic exercises. Other types of aerobic exercises include running, swimming, and boxing. In an average, a person loses over 400 calories just from doing any aerobic activity.
Do a little box squats to boost your quads. If you want explosive power, consider doing box squats. You will need a box or a chair to place behind you. Whenever you do a box squat do the squat and then stop when you are sitting on the box.
For those who have exercise equipment that`s even better though not essential to be physically fit. By simply using what you have around your home you can have a fantastic workout all at the convenience of your own home. Do you have stairs? Climb them. Have you got a fantastic area to walk in? Start walking. Do you have access to a library? Borrow some exercise DVDs and go for it. You may try a workout DVD swap with another person. Perhaps you`ve always desired how to learn how to do a handstand Booty Ballet so that you trade your friend for her Yoga Booty Ballet to get some of your workout DVDs one month.

Together with coloring you can draw, write a story or poem, anything to keep your mind from anything dealing with cancer. Even go for a walk and enjoy the seasons and the things surrounding you. Find joy in the exterior life and soon the joy inside your own.

OK, so this one is a no-brainer. Fitness specialists have preached this one for many years. Get a cardio, abdominal, and/or leg strengthening DVD`s. You can use these for low impact workouts or warm-ups. You can even use higher impact DVD`s like the Billy Blanks series.
